stacks

I have a stack of photos and guess what no mojo! sigh....I guess it is for good reason since I will be scrapping with friends Friday and Saturday but I need to muster something up tonight. Nothing going on here much just living life. I found the cutest tunic at Old Navy for $8.00 yesterday, SCORE!!

Personally I have always recycled plastics and aluminum but the shopping bags I never let go of- until now. It is just uncontrollable so in another step to becoming more green and raising my children to be aware of the environment I am no longer shopping with the plastic bags. This bag x2 are my reusable shopping bags from IKEA for $1.50, yes to read right a buck fifty each. hehehe...I must say I have had them for a few weeks and I have forgotten them twice but i love saying I don't need a bag I have my own. :) Trying to live greener everyday!
have a good one, off to get ready for the day!

  11. Oh wow, you are going green -- I often think about getting bags I can reuse but I think I would end up forgetting them half of the time and also dumb question but does the grocery store still back your reusable bag?

  12. Yes, Vee. I have a couple fron two of the grocery stores I shop at. It was nice going in--I feel prepared! (and every little bit does help!!)

  14. I think your mojo just took a little detour and should be back pronto! I was wondering if your IKEA bag was plastic of cloth? I bought cloth bags to do my groceries a few weeks ago and I love it! It feels good to know you're doing a little something good for planet earth right?

  16. I can feel your pain with the loss of your mojo. That was me for about 8 weeks a while back. I hope you get it back very soon. I would miss seeing what you create.
I can't believe $1.50 a bad. That is great. I am trying to live greener also. It is hard with older kids though. They are pretty set in their ways.

  21. Ok...the bag is way cute! Now that my kiddos are a bit older I don;t have to carry all that baby stuff with me. I need to get something real cute to carry around like that!

And I am feeling you on the mojo. I am ok with my painting but scrappin'? ...Man I mad a busted card today. Maybe we can lift each other up tonight hu? Say...I can't wait to see what your scrappin' ventures produce this weekend.

  22. oooh, you've got me itchin' for IKEA> LOVE that bag. My only contribution to the environment of late, is using paper bags instead of plastic{b/c you can use fewer bags}but it's for pretty selfish reasons. I've been cutting up the bags and using them for scrapbooking projects. So they're still being recycled...

Can't wait to see what you create when you're mojo comes back.

    :)
