one love.

on the mall

We headed to the mall early this morning, well to the Lincoln Memorial to be exact for the welcoming concert for Obama. It was amazing to see a sea of people;it was cold but great to be with so many in support of one! But at last the cold won out and we left because as great as my little troopers were, felt guilty that they were so cold and we came home to watch it on hbo. I think I may venture out on my own tomorrow morning, to see the crew of GMA. :)

  7. How EXCITING!!! I wish I was there to physically witness the welcome concert and the inauguration of Obama, plus all the 'after parties' (lol)! OooohHhh... I wish I was there but instead I'll be catching all the highlights on the BBC (here in the UK)!

  11. I could swear I saw you on tv today at the inauguration. It was just before the swearing in during the prayer. The camera focused on a woman (wearing either a green scarf or coat I think) and as they did she saw herself on screen....looked so much like you...am wondering if it was. Anyway hope you had a great time. It was so moving to watch on tv I can only imagine what it must have felt like to be there.
