where in the world...

I have been the worse blogger ever this month! Each day I mean to but work has been nuts, scrapping- nuts and life is good but nuts! I love it all but the blog is the one that takes a backseat... hopefully with the beginning of a new month it will get me back on track.
I have some scraps to share tomorrow, a giveaway on Friday and hopefully a back to a normal blogging schedule.

Finally transferred all my blogs to google reader this week, totally love it! I wished I had done it sooner, bloglines was giving me a headache with all of it's problems. GR is so much better!!! For real google has the internet on lock, well that twitter, facebook and tumblr, lol....
I am so behind on tv, it isn't even funny, thank the lord for dvr, how did we survive without it before?!
I am three weeks behind on Gossip, entire season of Damages, and Ugly Betty. Heroes, LOST, Grey's and Supernatural rock my socks every week. I can not wait for LOST tomorrow, it has me like WHAT?!!!

Well back to the grind, come on April what do you have for me?! I am ready for endless sunshine, flip flops, platforms, tanks and dresses. :) xo

and my week has gone a little something like this

I went to Raphael Saadiq's concert at the 9:30 club last night with some of my girls and it was the best concert I have seen in a long time! WOW, he is such a gifted real musician and performer! I should have preface that I saw him once before when he was a part of Lucy Pearl and it was great but as a solo artist is where Raphael truly performs. Everything from the backup singers, to the live bad and sound was phenomenal. I love the 9:30 club, it is a great venue to see artist in a smaller atmosphere in the DC area. He did perform this song, songs from his current album last night as well as the classics like: Ask of You,It Never Rains(in Southern California),Anniversary,Feels Good and (Lay Your Head on My) Pillow. I was loving the flash back to back in the day when we used to pump them on the ghettoblaster, okay just totally dated myself, ha! The video is not from last night but it is just like a set he performed last night. This man is the real deal and I need his genes because he looks the same! :)

Synai lost her first tooth last Friday! I tried to pull it that morning and of course she wouldn't let me but let her auntie b. pull it as soon as she ask. Why do children do their mommy's that way, pray tell?! lol, well she was happy to have the tooth fairy pay her a visit and also cementing the fact that she is indeed a big girl now!

A picture of my other little boo, just because he is just so cute to me. :) In the mornings, he comes (well they both do) into my room and is so full of conversation. It tickles me because I am always wondering how can you have these full conversations just as you wake up, first thing! :)He is in the middle of one here, it is grainy but I love it just the same. :)

I am doing a lot of scrapping this week! :) So that is my week so far and the cherry on tip for today is LOST! I hope Sawyer lays down the law to Jack again this week! They should have added a partn-a at the end of his line last week, because he sure brought it to Jack, yeah pick your face up Jack because their is a new sheriff in town! loves it!!! ;)

i wear what i love.

I know I was asked about fashion in one of my questions once in regards to the video blog.I am in no regards a fashion guru, but this is what works for me. I guess my style is more of bohemian style. I am very laid back, go with the flow but girlie type of girl. :) I thought it would be fun to show you one of my favorite outfits, for me I wear what I love and what looks good on me regardless of the trend. In the past several years I have focused on pieces that I know I will wear and love. I worked in retail when I was younger and I always remember the stat the most women wear 30% of the wardrobe 90% of the time. So that is how I shop, get pieces that I want to wear all of the time! I am the same with jewelry, if you notice in my pics, I always have the same pieces on, because I love them and each have a memory attached to them and for me it completes "my" look.


I love color as well, mixed with naturals and whites. I think this also is the same with my scrapbooking style,in that I use the colors that I love! :)

wickedly delicious, the weekend that is.

Raise your hands in the air and swing them in air like just don't C-A-R-E....that is my anthem today, lol. It feels good to be at another Friday, end of another work week and the beginning of spring!

My jack of the fabulous Lu, love how she art journals! I added some paint on the fabric thickers, I love them funked up a bit! I will have more scraps to share later this week, working on this month's PDW kit, so fun. I am really lovin' the new sassafrass. They just keep bringing inspiring product, so love that!

No rain, today-yeah!!!! Tomorrow, it is suppose to be almost 70!!!!!! It is almost enough to make me play hookie if I didn't have so much work to do, it would be a possibility.

It has been so rainy here for like a week now and I am like blek...
Which meant no photos outside this w/e in fear that I would wreck my cameras...
In turn meant no motivation to create, granted I did go out of town but I am "behind". I am hoping Gossip Girl will lift my mood tonight, finally a new episode!
I have something fun to share tomorrow as well as my some scrapjackness...

I love yellow.
I woke up way too early because I couldn't sleep any longer even though I didn't go to sleep early last night. I just felt ready to start my day!
I totally loved this week's episode of LOST, one word- James!!!!! It was so good on so many levels, can't wait for it again next week.
I also love this week's dare, it is about collections. I love collections and putting them on display or not, the above is my dare, the other girls rocked it too, check it out ---here. I think I could do a mini on my other collections, handbags, nail polish, makeup, etc....
I love the Veronicas, not only because they have a rocking name but the song Untouched is stellar and on heavy rotation on my itouch.
I am having thoughts of planting a beautiful garden, like in secret garden, hmmm...see the add creeping in,lol....
I am a little addicted to facebook, tumblr and twitter....working on pushing away from the computer.

I am wishing for spring and all of the freshness that it brings especially the green! I love green, it just symbolizing life, freshness,awareness, hope, fun and warmth to me....

This weekend is suppose to be so awesome, I can't wait! We are suppose to have some dope weather I am talking in the 70's people....

I have lots of ideas for stuff but need to channel it to get things done, sometimes I think I have ADD with craftiness, but it is all good. My hope is to finish up some cute new additions to s2 room, this weekend. I started on a layout this morning but didn't have time to finish but will post it tomorrow, I had some sort of 24 hour bug yesterday and was so happy to feel good today. I detest being sick!

We are half way to the weekend, holla! :) It is going to be on lock tonight, with LOST, I can't wait. I forgot to add in my vblog post below that I did enjoy seeing the scene with Walt and John. They always had a special relationship, so it was cool that he didn't ask Walt to come back to the island. Somehow I think he will be back since Walt still can "see" what is going on there.

mondays are the best when it is a snow day!

We got lots of the white stuff last night, so pretty! I shoveled for a while so we could use the steps to the house,I think we almost got 12 inches in our area.
