one for the history records.

our current reality...

our current reality but even with all of the snow that has fallen these last five days we are blessed.
blessed to not have lost electric, so many have no power in the metro area
blessed to have a job that follows the state/federal lead in closing offices
blessed to be able to buy more food to get thru another storm
blessed to be in good health to be able to shovel out our property and a neighbor who is out on the state roads plowing the roads for others
blessed to have a sister to help me shovel, keep me laughing and for children who do not get stir crazy. :)
blessed to see so much snow in my lifetime, over 56.9 records this winter
just feeling blessed...

  1. Such a great outlook! I am blessed to have gotten sick during a snow day, so that I didn't miss much at school! This week reminds me of how many dad always talks about that Chicago snow storm in the 70s. And he says that he left Chicago because of the weather. Well, take that, Dad, we're not much better off. :)

  2. That is is a wonderful way to look at it...because I have not been feeling so blessed with this snow...does not help to have a Hubby with a heart condition and no one to help us dig out..The winds here are so horrible....we are now at over 75 inches of snow!!! YUCK!!!!!

Wishing you a great day sweet friend!! Thanks for the insight..I needed that this evening!!!
