that is my anthem for the day!! srsly, it is playing on repeat in my head, work is bananas. crazy as it sounds, I prefer it that way, makes my day less boring. dare 165 is up, my take w/ polaroids taken in the city! i love our city dates i can't get enough of the documentary line from studio calico.
also on countdown mode until my two loves come back this weekend, i miss them! have a great wednesday!

now you're in new york!

yes, NYC was amazing as always, srsly this city never disappoints me! My sister and me tramped around the east village with google maps showing us the way, our first stop...shake shack! I know KP speaks highly of this eatery. We love a good burger and this burger is worth the 40 minute wait and in high heat!  It was DELICIOUS, now we have to see if it holds a card to our local Ray's Hell Burger that the President frequents. :)





we took our time, of course hitting up the mac pro store which you had to be buzzed into mafia style. :) I couldn't pass up this graffiti tagged wall.


loved how this guy matched this tag, he was clean and on a mission. ha! We just took our time and enjoyed the city.

chatted, took pics, cooled in the ac and people watched from the windows of borders as our day wound down while we waited for the bolt bus back to dc.

already planning another trip in the fall to see fela!, already excited! itching to make a mini, who knows how that will go since I still have my vacation one to do! ah, tomorrow a dare!

weekend perfection

weekend filled with beach antics (including almost losing my mind at the cosmetic company store, how did I not know about this place all my life, MAC at a discount, oh yay!), polaroids, (which didn't turn out the best but I still adore) dc cupcakes in the sweltering heat+ storms (we so need the rain)=perfection.

OMG! True Blood, Franklin cracks me up every week, yes, he is a total pyscho but me and B must have replayed him texting a million times,lol. I think I am going to finally break down and start reading the novels. You know you are invested in the brand when you try to download and install a ringtone from a sound bite of the show...just saying. :)

blog abandonment..

sorry about that guys!! s2 are with their nana until the end of the month and I've been enjoying some me time. I am getting used to sleeping in, more exercise, being creative and fun jaunts with my sister. posts will be a little sporadic this month. I do have a giveaway coming up on thursday, my space is getting way to jumbled, be on the look out!

weekday scrapper again?

what's up, what's up?! I hope y'all had a great 4th of July, mine was really nice!  this week of course is flying by at rapid speed. I was able to push, ink and sew some paper around these last few mornings and it was bliss. I am addicted to making my on mini albums, this one is 5x7! I am happy to get back into the routine of creating in the mornings. This mini is in the beginning stages (week in the life) but will document are week on vacation. I am beyond estatic to fill this one up!

sorry for the poor photo (taken with phone), was feeling way too lazy to snap one with my camera but I will be using a mix of papers from studio calico's newest line documentary, april was kind enough to send me some with my gdt products. You know I love their papers, totally squeeled with delight when I saw them, totally had me at the vintage cameras! okay off to finish some work and get ready to see a live performance of Mamma Mia tonight!

oh yeah it'Friday and put your hands uP....and let them stay there!! :) So happy it is a long weekend too, put your hands up! :)lol Finally after almost a week later herer are some pictures of our yumo dinner last Saturday-shrimp tacos. I made for the first time ever fresh pico de gallo and guac! It was incredible! I promise this isn't becoming a food blog, lol.
