I had them match the color of my living room walls, which is Ralph Lauren(dovecoat) paint, which they no longer make but luckily I had an old can and my tweeps calmed me when I was panicking about the color. I love the clean and crisp look of having one color throughout the three spaces. The black (color-sherwin willams: domino) on the cabinets with the stainless steel appliances make it pop that much more!

I really dislike clutter (but it is a constant battle) so when I saw this cute black storage bin at Target, I knew exactly where to put it. Misc. chips, paper towels and paper lunch bags are in here, organized and unseen!

updated the hardware on the cabinets with nickel pulls from home depot. I love the ergonomic feel of them and how it continues the stainless steel appeal. The cabinets were painted with an enamel gloss and the walls with a satin finish (best for kids).

When I started brainstorming on what I wanted to actually get done, possibly removing the brick but quickly revising that plan once I found out the work/ how useless my kitchen would be for a few months, budget, time and dreams vs needs. I must say I am very happy with the updates made and LOVE the brick with the current color scheme so much more than with the red walls. So that's my mini update around my casa, thanks for taking a peek and hoping you are having a great start to your week!

Love it. We just put an offer on a house today, you have to come down and help me!!!
That brick looks great! I think it's good you chose not to get rid of it! I love how something as simple as paint can make something look so new and different! Looks great!
that looks really cool vee. makes me want to repaint mine. they really need it. i told jeff i wanted white cabinets when we moved into our house. i went away for a weekend trip to seattle and came home to white cabinets. problems is he just went and bought paint right off the shelf, no color..no tint. when i complained about it he said "you said you wanted white". well, not that white. it was pretty blinding at first.
