reads
so in order to keep my brain from turning into complete mush from tv habit and because I love to read!! I am setting a goal to read at least one book a month until September.  I started reading memory keeper's daughter in GASP January, haven't picked it up since, unaccustomed earth last summer GASPx2, the help is the newest addition (to the book stack) and how starbucks saved my life a bargain buy long ago. i swear i am a habitual book buyer  with the best reading intentions! I will finish one of these this month, question is which one? I will let you know, what are you currently reading?

  8. Girl...if you love books, then you need to get on GoodReads.com and connect w/me...it's crazy addicting so consider yourself warned...but it is THE BEST place to get book recommendations!! The HELP was AWESOME...read it soon!! I can't wait to see the movie...the previews look great!! I recently caved and got a Nook and I'm more of a bookworm now than ever.

  9. Hi Vee! I read the Jumpha Lahiri one, but honestly I had to force myself to do it, it just doesn't flow to me since they are short stories. If you hadn't already I'd read her other book, the Namesake. Much much better and more powerful! Happy reading!

  10. I have always loved to read but let it go a bit, got to involved in the internet. I finally picked it up and have read 3 books in 2 months. Just finished Water for elephants, The girls guide to hunting and fishing, Drowning Ruth(GREAT read) and now I am reading The Girls which is about conjoined twins and their life together!!! Goodreads.com is a great site to keep track of your reading and it is a community so you can see what everyone else is reading:) I am on there so if you join let me know!
