I hope you are having a great weekend, it is almost the weekend.....yay!!!!! I am in LA for CHA (if you are going please come say hi at the Studio Calico booth) but wanted to quickly share my layouts I made with the new kit. Last night the February kit debuted and it totally lives up it's name. This kit is full of eye candy and full of exclusives let me tell ya! :) On this layout I mixed the main kit and jawbreaker (add-on #2).  The exclusive Crate Paper papers are so vibrant, so love them, you will want to get more pattern paper and check out the newest stamps added to the shop.

on the pro layout, I used only the jawbreaker add-on, so love the muted tones in this add on.  The stamp is a new favorite and the Basic Grey tabs are the perfect touch for any project. I also sprinkled a little applejack and dark calico mister huey's inks to fill in the open space a bit.

on the rainbow layout (so love my mommy) I used all products from the main kit candy shoppe, atmosphere mister huey's ink and paint. I love the exclusive ribbon rub-on KP designed, they are super cute as well. I hoarded the other two in the package! :)

state fair winner

Thank you for all of the super nice comments about the new lines at Studio Calico (we are just as excited about them) and my layout.The products will start shipping mid February to online retailers and LSS, I can't wait to see what everyone makes!

happy happy Monday, I have something super fun for you today! A GIVEAWAY, but not just any giveaway, new Studio Calico CHA goodies, a few of my favorites to be exact. :) On this layout I used products from the new State Fair line. I am in love with sideshow,  love the green woodgrain ( I also used this paper for my booth layout, so in love with it I used it twice), which goes with the other pattern papers in the line really well. As you can see I used snippets of pie contest and guess your weight which are gorgeous as well. I love the tones and dimensions of these paper all together.  The new rubons are amazing too, they go on like a dream!  Leave a comment here on this post on what new products you are looking forward to using and buying that are debuting at CHA later this week.

i love taking photos, especially of my friends and family. my friend marita asked me to take some family photos for her right before christmas and I was more than happy to oblige! :) aren't they the cutest family?! i remember when her youngest were babies, oy time flies to quickly! i love the family dynamic especially with bigger families, it is so much fun. each one have a role and it is so cute to capture it with each click (and gives me a inside look at raising good teenagers). i love hanging out with them and in their home because it is so full of life. I love homes like that, my goal has always been to have the same atmosphere at home- happy, full, open and well loved. happy happy friday! so happy the weekend is finally here! monday is going to be a fun day, make sure you stop by! ;)

fresh and easy just how i like it

my go to meal when i have no clue what to make=low fat chicken quesadillas! But today I added my favorite, freshly made pico de gallo to kick it up a notch. nom nom, what is your go to dinner meal to make, in the market for new quick and easy recipes! :)

welcome to the candy shoppe sneaks

happy Tuesday, love the start of the week when Monday is part of an extended weekend! :) I am slow with my sneaks this month, sentimos! I do have two to share, the first is  from the main kit (candy shoppe) which includes exclusive pattern paper from Crate Paper. These are not normally my go to colors but I am loving this kit a lot! The second sneak is from add on #2-jawbreaker.  I am in total love with the octagon stamp, swoon. I love love LOVE the colors in jawbreaker, so muted and gorgeous!
I am so behind on posts this month, hoping to remedy that this week!

happy happy Monday, I am back in action! I hope you had a great weekend, you know my thoughts it moved way to quickly as always. I have a big chunk of my assignments done, yay!!

 I was so excited to work with Pink Ninja Addicts' January kit:glitter in the air this month. It is such a fun and happy kit with loads of embellishments, which I love...hello white polka dot tulle, i die! It was the perfect kit to use with my more girlie photos! Of course no layout is complete without a little ink! Thanks Ally and Nely for having me, they are so sweet!

hey there! promise I haven't forgotten about blogging, just busy with life, work and such (coming out of the holiday fog is rough). I will MAKE time to blog this week, just not as much as I would like to. I still have to share the rest of my december daily, it is done. BOOM, so happy about that, really! This is the first year ever that I have completed a daily,yaaaaaaaaaaaaay! :)

I am one of three guest designers at PINK NINJA ADDICTS this month (will post layouts soon), plus about to be playing with some new CHA Studio Calico goodies soon (insert squeal),  a new dare and finishing up a magazine assignment! promise I will not be a stranger, much love and I hope your new year is starting off on a good note. :) love you guys!!
