Project life for me is really about capturing the small moments the ones that get loss in the day to day activities of life but are remembered when you are older thru triggers. For instance every thursday night in our household was nutty butty (what we called them but they are nutty bars) night while watching the cosby show and different world. My sister and me looked forward to this night weekly because this was our tradition, our mom purchased groceries on that day and we couldn't wait for her to get home to have our 8pm treat while watching tv. This is what I want to capture and document for s2, the things that make us happy, our daily treats, home, patterns, accomplishments, trips and life. I will not be here forever with them but these pages will last for generations.

I am using supplies that I have in my collection and that jed hooked me up with recently, Some of my supplies I've had forever but
products used on my title page: Elle Studio tags; Heidi Swapp silhouette words and stamp; Studio Calico wood veneer house; countryside tags; mister heuy's ink-overdue and custard;zing-mustard; Hambly (brown) overlay;Hambly (woodgrain) overlay; tweet rubons;rhinestones; classic scrap pad (note); Martha Stewart heart punch
Album: AC minibook for the Studio Calico|Ali December daily kit
Storage: I have all of my gathered supplies and stamps for my album in a drawer in my scrap area. Most of my supplies will be studio calico, smash, heidi swapp, elle studio and jbs. All provide journaling spots, stickers or cards that are perfect for project life. I also picked up this cute bucket from target ($1 spot, comes in pink too) thanks to lisa, to keep mobile supplies in. This will be perfect for scrapping in front of the tv, during my lunch break or while waiting at practices for Saadiq or Synai. I plan on keeping in simple, efficient and stress-free.
I think the key is finding what works for you and keeping with it.
...so who else is in?!

Love looking at your projects...even your storage is inspiring! LOL! I'm still teetering on PL because I have commitment issues...so I may do something weekly like a collage or just stick with P12...Hmm, I must say I'm totally inspired by your post today and the fact that I just picked up the Simple Stories Yearography collection = )love! Thanks so much, Vee! Happy 2012
I'm definitely jumping in. I've been taking pics and keeping odds and ends. Haven't started yet and not sure size/style but you have definitely motivated me to get it going. I will be using the same motto as I used with DD...KIS (keep.it.simple). Less is more which makes conquering big tasks easier. Thanks for the inspiration.
i love this and so need to get going on mine.
i love that you're using the AC minialbum! i'm excited as well...i've got my title page finished and am working on the week so far!
Love that blue bin in that bottom pic!
I am on board...just can't decide on what album to use...but your storage tub and nail polish might just be reaffirming my decision (LOL).
I love your work and can't wait to see what PL goodies you bring to the table.
Love this!! I have that bucket in white and I need like FIVE more. I also love that your nails match the bucket :D
I have dreams of doing that book...I just finished my Dec mini yesterday, geez! How do you do it mama???
awe....I totally loved reading that story about you and your sisters thursday night tradition! loving what you have so far, are you cutting your pl protectors to fit that size of the binder? i wish (maybe in the future) that they would do different sizes. I would love to do mine at 8x11.
Doing it. Love yours.
Thanks for the inspiration!
I like the bucket from target. i think keeping it simple is the only way to go
Your album is so lovely already. Thanks for sharing it - and your reflective words at the outset are very inspiring. (As a child, we enjoyed similar times, shows, snacks -- and but it takes considerable (!) mental effort to bring the images to mind.)
your project life is just wonderful
you inspire me so much
love from belgium

Vee, love how you are using the DD album for your PL. So do you sew pockets into the 6x81/2 protectors and also sew on top? I love how you made it looks like it is pockets.
love the smaller format you're using! Great week!!
I love how you explained your ideas behind PL. It does seem to be a lot different than a regular scrapbook page, and I think you were right in calling it a trigger. I wanted to do PL (for the first time) because I wanted to capture all of the little details like you mentioned that don't make it onto scrapbook pages.
You are a true inspiration!
Gorgeous title page - and I love the glimpse of your supplies!
