project life 2012| week eight

wheee, it's Friday and I couldn't be more happy about it. We are going to see the LORAX tomorrow and I think I am just as excited to see this movie as s2 are!! This week my schedule was insane but I have a quick share of my week eight of project life. I know two post this week about project life, but I'm behind okay and I really love week 8 combination!

I flowed with the photos that I selected for the week a lot better.   I had tweeted earlier in the week a bunch of conversation bubbles that I made with my cameo. I cut a 12x12 sheet of 2x2 sized bubbles (with words that came to mind that I use or love at the moment)...I can't wait to use them  with upcoming pages in the book. I used the font blackout for the text and just popped them into the slide page protectors (super easy-peasy). I cut down the sizes of my page protectors this week also, the larger size (6x6) was a 6x12 project life protector. I cut down the slide protector to about 4x6. The photos this week are a mix of 2x2 and 2x3. Synai is really into barbies at the moment, yes she plays with all of them at the same time and YES that is the Brandy Barbie. I took a lot of photos of random parts of our day, me pumping gas (necessary evil), weekend breakfast, collections and of course blogging. :) project life 2012| week 8 I also followed jamaica's lead and sewed the top page onto the larger page with transparent thread. I love flipping and pulling out photos-sure you can tell this by now. :) I sewed right on the seam of the page protector. The opposite side of the smaller page has journaling tucked there on the opposing picture side. project life 2012| week 8 details Neon still making a happy appearance, still enjoying adding it here and there! :) Also becoming slowly addicted to these gold thickers from the story hour kit! project life 2012| week 8 details products used: dear lizzy roller stamp; dear lizzy sunny skip; jbs chipboard buttons; jbs star sticker; hambly green circle overlay; glue mini dots; bazzill plastic paper

hope you have a happy weekend! xo

  1. I'm so far behind on mine I think I'm just gonna skip the last two weeks and start fresh with next week. :) LOVE the little veneer houses layered like that! The word bubbles are fabulous too!

  2. I love your PL pages. All of your layers are so fun! Nice to see others using small books.
