week 15 involved travel, worship (Easter), family time and lots of happy items: new leopard dress, sonic treat and the cherry blossom parade. I used studio calico's newest release heyday (will be in the studio calico shop soon) mixed with take note collection. The two blended perfectly together and I love mixing pastels with a hint of neon. I didn't want the conventional 2 page spread since my book is getting rather tight, so I sewed a small pocket on top. I've done this layout type before on week eight.
products used: stazon (black ink); take note executive pattern paper (woodgrain); take note 6x6 paper pad; hey day sentiments stamp set;adventure stamp set (documented); camera wood veneer shape; state wood veneer shape; mustard zing powder; versamark watermark stamp padhave questions about project life, check here and here. :)
hope you are having a great week!

vee - your book looks amazing! isn't so cool to see the evolution of our kids through photos? i love it:)
ReplyDeleteI love seeing these and it's nice to know I'm not the only one behind!
ReplyDeleteVee, LOVE it! The the small photos on each card with washi and doo-dads are perfect. I keep trying to figure out how to tape/embellish but it doesn't work the same on larger photos. I'm so taking what you've done and using it as a roadmap for the next week I do. Lovely work, my friend!
ReplyDeleteMan I love the detail you put into this! The colors, the added (sewn on) page...gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAwww your little man is growing up :( I know he's excited though! I love your project life and the sewn in page looks great too. I saw the take note collection at the store earlier and had to FORCE myself to put it down (I have so much paper). *sigh*
ReplyDeletecute, I wish I had more time for PL
