project life|week 15

I can't believe we are officially half way thru 2012 which means I'm almost at the half way mark with this project as well.  Lots of things happening with us this week, school is ending (for one), S1 will be promoted to middle school (still can't believe it) and the start of summer vacation.  As much as I dislike being behind on this album it still makes me excited to know that his transition to the next point in his life will be in this book (which is almost full).

week 15 involved travel, worship (Easter), family time and lots of happy items: new leopard dress, sonic treat and the cherry blossom parade. I used studio calico's newest release heyday (will be in the studio calico shop soon) mixed with take note collection. The two blended perfectly together and I love  mixing pastels with a hint of neon.  I didn't want the conventional 2 page spread since my book is getting rather tight, so I sewed a small pocket on top. I've done this layout type before on week eight.

  3. Vee, LOVE it! The the small photos on each card with washi and doo-dads are perfect. I keep trying to figure out how to tape/embellish but it doesn't work the same on larger photos. I'm so taking what you've done and using it as a roadmap for the next week I do. Lovely work, my friend!

  5. Awww your little man is growing up :( I know he's excited though! I love your project life and the sewn in page looks great too. I saw the take note collection at the store earlier and had to FORCE myself to put it down (I have so much paper). *sigh*
